[Inside a giftbag is a stuffed animal - a wolf about the same colour as Urotsuki's hair, with a pink bow at its ear. It's also holding a box of jellybeans.
[ It takes a little bit (Urotsuki is so oblivious that she doesn't check her mailbox often, sorry..) but then he'll find a note in return in his own box. ]
Sure. Just tell me when and where I should be. [ Short and somewhat devoid of emotion. Just like her usual demeanour, huh. ]
[ How cute, Claudia.. Urotsuki has probably already long hamstered the letter to her room so she can put it under her pillow - like she's going to let something that nice just lie around in her mailbox, come on - but she's quick to write a note back, looking around until she finds Claudia's own mailbox. ]
Yes.
I'm ready anytime you are. Right away.
[ Totally not desperate, Urotsuki.. it's a good thing she's so blank that it doesn't show as easily. ]
[ She decided it's somewhat awkward (or maybe rude) to not at least doodle something back, so she did her best and drew this lovely image on the back. She's so normal. ]
Give her a few moments, she needs to let this dawn upon her. She's gotten an actual invite for a party. That means someone actually wants her to come to a party, even if it's for someone else.
Her answer is a little hastily scribbled since once she came back down to earth she had to make sure to answer quickly that she wanted to be there before leaving the note in Lancer's mailbox. ]
I'll be there for sure.
Thank you.
- Urotsuki.
[ Okay, so maybe her happiness doesn't really transfer through her kind of writing, but still.. ]
At this rate Urotsuki is going to have a whole stash of notes under her pillow, not to mention that it's only really a pillow thanks to the glamor, but she doesn't care. Reading stuff like that makes her happier than anything else, so she takes the note from the mailroom away to her own room to keep it close to her. So she can reread it whenever she feels lonely. ]
Oh. Huh. That's pretty nice. She doesn't even assume anyone gave them to her thanks to the lack of note, maybe it's more like some sort of new effect that popped up out of nowhere. Cool. Thanks, tower. ]
[ Oh man, another note to drag along with her to her room and add to her collection. Although it's more special with this picture and all - she likes it, although it's hard to believe that pig is a human pig, it just looks like a pig with clothes.. ]
She did. It's a very interesting picture. Can you thank her for me?
It's hard. A lot of people here in the tower are pretty great like heroes.
I think if I had to name just a few people, I think the best heroes I know are the two puppy brothers. I guess one is supposed to be a hound and the other a puppy. Maybe? One of them is named Lancer and the other one is his brother. They're really kind and strong at the same time. And they bring people together and make them feel welcome. I think that last part's really important for a hero.
[ Minato, you're so kind, looking out for her.. because she definitely would have munched all of it if nobody told her what it really was. Like Urotsuki really thinks deeply enough to not be oblivious to it being actual human meat.. ]
I ate pancakes this morning.
They didn't taste gross.
[ He said "dinner", Urotsuki.. but she apparently read over that part when she sent a note back. But there's still a hint of worry she did something wrong-- because maybe it'll make Minato stop liking her! ]
[ Honestly, the message makes her more curious than anything else.. if they had pancakes for breakfast, then what would they have for lunch? But on the other hand, she trusts Minato enough to listen to him-- and more importantly, she doesn't want him to dislike her, so she won't even try getting dinner. ]
Wanna go hunting with me and Diarmuid and Waver and Reno? We're probably gonna do it sometime this week. Would be a good way to practice your fighting.
Thank you for asking. I'd like to go do something together with everyone.. [ Hunting, anything else, hey, she doesn't mind what exactly. Urotsuki's not exactly picky when it comes to being able to spend time with other people. ] Would it really be alright for me to join?
[ ... yeah, she's totally fifteen, which means she's a kid. But never say Urotsuki won't try to deny the impossible all the same since it's not like she looks any older than her age. ]
[ For a while she stares at the note, wondering if she should just reply to it to begin with. But then again, from his words it does seem like he's trying to reach out at least a little bit to her - more than most adults do.
It makes her give it the benefit of the doubt even if she does feel disappointed. ]
